Dr. Stephen Scott joined Aquifer as Consortium President in June of 2022. In this role, Dr. Scott served as a key member of the Executive Team and was responsible for all aspects of the Aquifer Consortium’s membership and engagement strategy in support of Aquifer’s mission, vision, and values. He transitioned to the role of MD/DO Student Advisory Group Lead at the end of his term as president in June 2025.

Dr. Scott first became involved with Aquifer in 2007 and has been an active member of the Aquifer Family Medicine Course Board. Most recently, Dr. Scott served Aquifer as an Academic Director for Engagement. Dr. Scott is the Senior Associate Dean of Educational Affairs and Accreditation at the TCU School of Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Previously, he served as the Associate Dean for Student Affairs at Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar.

Dr. Scott is the recipient of multiple grants and awards for educational leadership and innovation. He and his wife Melissa have two daughters. Steve enjoys playing the piano, the arts, reading, and exploring the world with family and friends.
